A location information service system and a method thereof are provided to link a friend location search service on a web community to offer the linked service, thereby improving a user's convenience of using the community and expanding service usage more. Meeting-related information including a meeting date and a meeting place about an offline meeting is posted on a bulletin board of a web community(S120). Participants who apply for the attendance of the meeting are registered(S150). Location information of the participants is provided to the web community based on the meeting date and the meeting place(S180). |
