PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance operation device of an elevator capable of accurately knowing whether or not a person stays in a car, even if a new apparatus is not arranged in the car.SOLUTION: This maintenance operation device is applied to an elevator including a hoisting machine 5 for lifting the car 2 and a counterweight 8, and a measuring device 16 for measuring a load in the car 2, and the hoisting machine 5 has a drive sheave 7 for rotating by being wrapped with a main rope 9. This maintenance operation device includes: a torque detecting device 17 measuring torque of the drive sheave 7 as measuring torque; an estimating torque arithmetic operation section 20 for arithmetically operating the torque of the drive sheave 7 in each operation direction of the car 2 as estimating torque based on the load in the car 2 measured by the measuring device 16; a determining device 21 for determining whether or not a person stays in the car 2 by comparing the measuring torque with the estimating torque; and a control device 18 for controlling operation of the elevator in response to a determining result determined by this determining device 21. |
