PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decontamination method for a radioactive contaminated water storage tank, which materializes small radiation exposure level of an operator and enables the radioactivity level of the radioactive contaminated water storage tank to be inexpensively reduced.SOLUTION: The decontamination method for a radioactive contaminated water storage tank comprises: a step of discharging stored water from a tank Td stored with radioactive contaminated water, and a step of using a water jetting module 1 inserted in one or a plurality of openings of the tank to jet cleaning water onto an inner surface of the tank, the jet flow of the water jetting module being abutted on an entire surface of the inner surface of the tank in the jetting step. The water jetting module preferably comprises one or a plurality of nozzles and an oscillating mechanism that enables the nozzles to change a direction thereof.
