PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sagging degree simulator for calculating the sagging degree of a wire laid between two electric poles.SOLUTION: A sagging degree simulator comprises viewpoint conversion calculation means for calculating a viewpoint conversion constant from image data in which two electric poles are settled within a frame, and sagging degree calculation means for calculating the sagging degree by approximating a wire to a quadratic function using the viewpoint conversion constant calculated by the viewpoint conversion calculation means. After approximation to a quadratic function, heights at both shoulders of the wire and a hight at a center point between the electric poles are calculated to calculate the sagging degree. As photographing conditions of the image data, a zoom ratio of about three times is used (35 mm to 85 mm of 35 mm equivalent focal length) and photographing is carried out at a place separated by 3 m or more from an extension line estimating an extension line connecting ground-levels of the two electric poles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
