PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system that has a configuration in which at least one slave device is connected to a master device, and can improve resistance against external noise compared with a case of transmitting with a constant signal strength; and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A communication system comprises a master device 20 that transmits a signal transmitted from the upstream side to the downstream side, and a slave device 40A that is connected onto the downstream side of the master device 20 and transmits the signal to an execution part connected onto the downstream side to cause the execution part to execute processing corresponding to the signal. The master device 20 includes a log collection part 24 that collects communication information including the state of delay in communication with the slave device 40A, and strength changing means 25 that changes the strength of the signal to be transmitted to the slave device 40A on the basis of the communication information collected by the log collection part 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
