The present invention relates to a water turbine for waterpower generation including a rotary shaft positioned to be able to rotate; a supporting unit connected to the rotary shaft, rotating to be integrated with the rotary shaft, and including multiple supporting ribs which are radially extended; a connection unit joined to the multiple supporting ribs and fixating a distance between the multiple supporting ribs; a water receiver unit connected to the supporting unit or the connection unit and including a recess unit receiving falling water and an outlet formed in the recess unit and through which the water is discharged; and a cap unit installed in the outlet and selectively discharging the water received in the recess unit. The present invention includes the water receiver unit wherein the outlet is formed and a cap capable of sliding to be selectively opened and closed and formed in the outlet, thereby rotating by receiving the falling water in the recess unit of the water receiver unit. Accordingly, a rotational force is increased, thus more efficient power generation is possible. |
