PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast reception device capable of executing a function with a much higher added-value.SOLUTION: A broadcast reception device includes: a first broadcast reception part for receiving the broadcast wave of a first broadcast service; a first separation part for separating coded program video data and time control information from the received broadcast wave; a first video decoding part for decoding the coded program video data to reproduce program video information; a second broadcast reception part for receiving the broadcast wave of a second broadcast service; a second separation part for separating the coded program video data and the time control information from the received broadcast wave; a second video decoding part for decoding the coded program video data to reproduce the program video information; a current time information generation part for generating current time information on the basis of either the first time control information or the second time control information; a presentation processing part for inputting the first program video information and the second program video information and the current time information, and for performing selection processing and/or superimposition processing as necessary, and for outputting a result as video information; a display part for displaying the video information; and a control part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7A |
