PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal compressor capable of suitably coping with both of small flow rate time and large flow rate time.SOLUTION: A centrifugal compressor 10 includes a housing 11 in which fluid is taken, and an impeller 22 which rotates and thereby compresses the fluid taken in the housing 11. The housing 11 includes an impeller chamber 26 storing the impeller 22, and a discharge chamber 41 to which the fluid compressed by the impeller 22 is discharged. The housing 11 has a first diffuser flow passage 30 and a second diffuser flow passage 50 having a flow passage cross section smaller than that of the first diffuser flow passage 30 so as to communicate the impeller chamber 26 with the discharge chamber 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
