GREASE APPLICATOR

A grease applicator used to apply grease to the inner peripheral surface of a hole is provided with: a grease container (100) in which the grease is contained; and an application rod (102) held so as to extend through the grease container and so as to be movable in the axial direction, the front end-side portion of the application rod (102) being adapted to be inserted in the hole. When the application rod is at a rear end position, the front end surface thereof is in a state in which the front end surface is not retracted inside the grease container. A hole for limiting the amount of grease adhering and remaining on the outer peripheral surface of the front end-side portion when the application rod is moved to an advanced position is provided in the grease container so that a clearance is provided between the application rod and the limiting hole. The use of the grease applicator enables an appropriate amount of grease to be easily applied to the inner peripheral surface of the hole, to which the grease is to be applied.
