The device has a support base for receiving a fixed unit, an electric jack for stretching telescopic units. A detector (5) detects pedestrians who desire to cross. Another detector (6) detects presence of pedestrians who are still on the passage before its closing. A resonant signal is notified to the pedestrians if the pedestrians are found in the passage. A light signal warns the pedestrians of closing barriers (A, B).
