PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel computation controller capable of performing job scheduling with improved node use efficiency.SOLUTION: A parallel computation controller 10 determines via nodes (nodes 23 and 25) positioned on a channel from a first node ( node 21) to a second node (node 26) which are assigned to a job 13 in the nodes 21 to 26. The parallel computation controller 10 acquires an index value 14 which represents the status of use of the resources in the via nodes. The parallel computation controller 10 calculates an estimation value a transfer time 16 when transferring a piece of data of the job 13 from the first node to the second node on the basis of an index value 14 amount of memory use 15 for the job 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
