PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide patches having sufficiently high skin permeability of asenapine without a need for containing organic acid in an adhesive layer, and having excellent temporal stability of skin permeability.SOLUTION: A patch comprises a base layer and an adhesive layer, the adhesive layer containing sodium diacetate whose particle diameter Dat a cumulative volume of 50% in a particle diameter distribution is 10 μm or less, asenapine and/or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive base. Besides, in the measurement of the adhesive layer by an X-ray diffraction method, the peak intensity derived from the sodium diacetate is larger than the peak intensity derived from the sodium acetate.
