PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact device capable of securing an arc space and suppressing an arc-over despite its simple configuration.SOLUTION: A contact device comprises a pair of fixed contacts, a movable contact 22, a contact holder 28, a movable shaft, a base 51, and protrusions 512 to 515. The pair of fixed contacts are arranged in a first direction. The movable contact 22 comes into contact with the pair of fixed contacts and separates therefrom in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The contact holder 28 holds the movable contact 22. The movable shaft moves the contact holder 28 in the second direction so that the movable contact 22 comes into contact with the pair of fixed contacts and separates therefrom. The base 51 houses the pair of fixed contacts, the movable contact 22, and the contact holder 28. The protrusions 512 to 515 protrude from a position facing the contact holder 28 in the base 51 to a third direction orthogonal to both the first and second directions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
