The machine has a food strand in a feed direction from a feed area by using a feed device on a cutting device (3). The feed device has a rotary rocker arm (6) circumferential to a housing-fixed rotary axis (7) and a circular knife (10) mounted at a rotary axis (9). Slices are cut from the food strand at a front side and transferred into a transport area after separation from the food strand. The rotary axis is rotated at a circular path (K). The circular path is arranged completely outside of maximum cutting cross sections. |
