PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which receives preceding data and job data and can execute a meaningful operation.SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus 1, a data communication unit 20 receives the preceding data and the job data including image data from an information processing device 5. A main control unit 10 controls a printing control unit, so that the printing control unit 50 executes a preparation operation on condition that a receiving unit receives the preceding data. Further, the main control unit controls the printing control unit, so that the printing control unit executes an image formation operation based on the image data included in the job data received by the receiving unit. The main control unit controls a user interface 30, so that a notification unit executes a reception notification operation for notifying a user of the occurrence of reception event on condition that the job data is received. A cancel command for the job data is accepted after the reception of the job data is started.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
