PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique such that a file managed by a file server at one base can be suitably referred to by a file server at another base.SOLUTION: A local file server is connected to a plurality of user terminals and a remote file server, and configured to control the processes of: storing data of files received from the plurality of user terminals in a storage device; replicating the files to the remote file server; stubbing the files stored in the storage device; and at an access request from a user terminal, reading data of a file associated with the access request out of the storage device and transmitting the data to the user terminal as the request source when the file associated with the access request is not stubbed or acquiring data of the file from the remote file server and transmitting the data of the file to the user terminal as the request source when the file associated with the access request is stubbed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
