GPU RESOURCE ALLOCATION METHOD AND SYSTEM

A GPU resource allocation method and system, which relate to the technical field of computers and can solve the problem that a kernel program with a high priority cannot be responded to in time. The method comprises: a global logic controller determining a kernel program to be distributed from a kernel state register table (201); the global logic controller looking up an SM capable of running at least one complete block from an SM state register table, the SM state register table being used for storing the remaining resource quantity in each SM (202); when the global logic controller does not find the SM capable of running at least one complete block, looking up a first SM from the SM state register table, the first SM being an SM capable of running at least one warp (203); and when the global logic controller finds the first SM, distributing the block in the kernel program to be distributed to the first SM (204). The present invention is applicable to GPU resource allocation.
