<p>PURPOSE:To install a large-capacity cassette in a simple constitution by pushing up a paper push-up plate by push-up force of a spring and push-up force of a driving motor through reduction means when the height of paper in the large- capacity paper cassette becomes lower. CONSTITUTION:An arm 44 of an apparatus main body is oscillated up and down, whereby paper P in a large-capacity cassette 7 is taken out by a take-out roller 45 in the same manner as paper in an upper standard cassette 6. When the paper height reaches the height of a paper height position detecting sensor, a driving motor 309 is driven to raise a paper push-up plate 302 through reduction mechanisms 308, 307, 305, 304, with a spring 303 having urging force a little larger than the loading weight of paper P to be pushed up, so that paper P can be taken out in the same manner as paper in the upper standard cassette 6. Thus, a large-capacity paper feed cassette can be installed in a simple constitution.</p> |
