Caravan with fan light in roof - consists of handle with slot at each corner and telescopic strut

A caravan or mobile home has a fan light fitted in an opening in the roof. The fan light can be opened or closed from inside by means of a handle (8). The handle (8) has a slot at each corner which receives the upper end (3) of a pivoted telescopic strut. The lower end of each strut (5) is pivoted to a frame (1) fixed to the roof of the caravan or mobile home. When the fan light is closed, the upper end (3) of each strut (5) abuts against the curved surface of a spring loaded slider (7) which locks the fan light in the closed position. These sliders (7) have to be retracted before the fan light can be opened. USE/ADVANTAGE - The fan light can be opened only from inside the caravan or mobile home.
