Tray (T) to store and transport surgical syringes (12) with a cannula (11) and a cannula cap (8) is made of injection moulded plastic material. Its bottom (1) is surrounded by a peripheral (2) and a central (3) rim with holes (7) for the cannula caps (8). These holes (or separate stand-alone cylinders to replace them are dimensioned so cannula caps fit to them without interference and can be extracted without steadying the tray with the other hand.
