<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently use a limited number of information recording and reproducing devices and to perform the continuous reproduction of a large number of cassettes by allocating a recording medium cassette in sequence of the actual ejection of the cassette from the information recording and reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:A time until the recording medium cassette A is ejected after the reproduction of the information recording and reproducing devices 1A-1C are completed is computed based on a supplied reproduction list, and the cassette A is allocated to the device 1A-1C ejected first to perform the next reproduction. In such a way, since the cassette A is allocated in sequence of the actual ejection of the cassette from the devices 1A-1C, an unprepared state for the reproduction can be evaded even when the devices 1A-1C with high priority for the start of reproduction due to difference between reproduction time and rewinding time after the completion of reproduction are not always ejected first.</p> |
