PURPOSE:To monitor an uninterruptible power supply easily and continuously from a remote place by reading out the content of a ROM storing setting information necessary for operation of the uninterruptible power supply through a processor and a communication line and then converting thus read out data into obvious form through the processor. CONSTITUTION:Set information(e.g., set values of output voltage, output current, frequency, and the like) for a controller 2 controlling a main circuit 1 is stored in a ROM 3. The ROM is connected through a communication controller 4, communication units 5, 7 and communication lines 6 with a monitor 8 including a computer. The communication controller 4 can convert parallel data from the ROM 3 into series data and can read out data from the memory 3 at a remote place based on a command fed from the computer. Content in the ROM 3 is converted into obvious form through the computor in the monitor 8 and displayed on a CRT display 9. |
