COATING FILM FOR OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film for optical recording medium having a coating layer on at least one surface of a transparent film formed by a solution casting method and having superior surface smoothness.

SOLUTION: The coating film has a basic structure wherein the coating layer is provided on at least the one surface of the transparent film formed by the solution casting method using an amorphous thermoplastic resin composition, especially a polycarbonate. The coating layer is provided on the surface having ≥1 nm center line average roughness (Ra) of the surface of the transparent film and smoothness of the surface of the transparent film is heightened and fine flaws are reduced.
