PURPOSE:To provide a method for fixing baking pigment to a decorating transfer sheet of a pottery without printing plate or more generally a low-cost method for recording an image in which arbitrary powder is used as developer. CONSTITUTION:A method for recording an image comprises the steps of selectively discharging organic solvent ink to a medium to be recorded in which a base is coated with ordinary temperature nonadhesion adhesive by an ink jet printer cooperated with a computer or selectively heating it by a thermal printer to be made adherent, and then bonding powder to an adherent part. The method utilizes properties of the ordinary temperature nonadhesion adhesive which does not exhibit adhesive properties in an ordinary temperature state but is activated by brining it into contact with specific organic solvent or heating it to a predetermined temperature or higher so as to continue to maintain the properties for several minutes - several hours. |
