PURPOSE:To set an economical telephone call when a mobile subscriber and a nearby fixed subscriber have a communication through a radio base station including the mobile subscriber and an exchange station including the fixed subscriber. CONSTITUTION:The cellular system mobile object telephone system is provided with a direct line 7 between the radio base station 2a which includes the mobile subscriber 8 and the nearby exchange station 3b which includes the fixed subscriber 9, and the radio exchange station 1 analyzes a called subscriber number at a connection request from the mobile subscriber 8; when the exchange station 3b includes the called subscriber 9, the direction line 7 is set as long as the direct line 7 has a margin of line capacity and the result of channel allocation is reported to the exchange station 3b by using a common line signal device 5a. The channel is set, the connection of the channel is indicated to the radio base station 2a, and the direct line is utilized for the communication between the mobile subscriber 8 and fixed subscriber 9 in contiguous areas.
