<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for using identification service for protecting identification information during electronic commerce. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises registration of an identification client, the identification client owns associated multi-component identification, further adjusts an access to the multi-component identification and the identification service permits distribution of the smaller number of components than the number of all the components of the multi-component identification to an identification requester. In addition, the method comprises a method for providing client identification recovery in order to protect the client identification information from illegal distribution. The method comprises creation of a new identification reference in detection of the illegal distribution of the identification information, tracking of a trial to access old identification reference, in addition, judgment of whether or not the trial to access the old identification reference is permitted, redirection of the trial to the new identification reference when the trial is permitted and refusal to the access to the new identification reference when the trial is not permitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
