This invention is related to glass industry, particularly to the textile processing of glass fibre and to thread pullers in creels for warpers. The suggested construction of the thread puller provides minimum pulling of the thread and accordingly reduces breakage, positively influencing the process of warping.The essence of this invention is thread puller (fig. 1), which consists of a base in the shape of a rectangular tray. The ceramic-lined holes on the shorter sides of the rectangular tray are made for the thread and pulling unit, consisting of two glass textolite plates, which are placed in this tray and freely fitting to each other with the thread drawn between them. The thread puller is then fastened with bolts to a vertical tube in the creel.<IMAGE>
