<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which enhances operation efficiency by restraining a filter from clogging and reducing a dust removal frequency, improves the utilization efficiency of a reactive agent, and is improved in cost. <P>SOLUTION: The method for treating an exhaust gas containing an acidic gas is to blow the reactive agent composed of an inorganic alkaline material powder and an unground foamed pearlite into a bag filter. A preferable embodiment is that the reactive agent composed of the inorganic alkaline material powder comprises one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of slaked lime powder, quick lime and calcium carbonate powder, and the reactive agent and the unground foamed pearlite are blown into the bag filter in a form of a mixed material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
