The two-way chain unit (4) is housed in an outer cover (1) and there are two rods (2,2') mounted outside the chain. The chain is driven by a motor (7) with reversible gearing. The rods connect to an outer carrier (14) which moves up and down. The chain is arranged in a continuous loop, and the rods are mechanically connected at one end, so that rotational chain drive is translated into linear movement.
