PURPOSE:To prevent a character figure from flickering by generating the number of bit map data of painted-out part data and outline part data with different gradations, composing those bit map data to generate display data, and representing the display data with gradations. CONSTITUTION:An outline font generator 4, a ROM 5, and a frame buffer 9 consisting of a VRAM which stores set characters, etc., and outputs them to a CRT 8 under the command of a CPU 2 are connected to a system bus 3 connected to the CPU 2. And, the outline font generator 4 gives gradations to characters under the command of the CPU 2. Namely, display data are divided into the painted-out part and outline part data, and the bit map data of the painted-out part data and outline data are generated with different gradations from specific pattern data of an outline system. Then, plural generated bit map data are composed to generate the display data, which are represented with the gradations. |
