FIELD: mechanical engineering; drying of material passed through zone formed by housing. SUBSTANCE: drier has slot nozzles installed in housing over and under strip material and designed for delivering hot gas. Device has filters installed over and under slot nozzles, respectively, at little distance from inlet holes of nozzles. Housing has chambers arranged over and under filters, respectively, and communicating with gas supply devices. Width of nozzle outlet slots corresponds to width of strip material, and outlet slots of upper and lower nozzles are displaced in direction of strip material movement to arrange outlet slot of each nozzle opposite to space between two opposite nozzles.
