PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the rotary shaft of a driving motor from being protruded upward rather than the upper surface of a rotary polygon mirror when a polygon mirror is mounted on the rotary shaft of the motor by holding the polygon mirror on a rotary body through a pressing member while utilizing the space of a recessed part formed on the upper surface of the polygon mirror. SOLUTION: A deflector A1 is provided with a block 2 arranged in an outer case 1, bearing 3 supported on the block 2, and shaft 4 supported by the wearing 3 so as to be freely rotated. Then, a driving motor M1 is composed of a rotor 6 fixed on a flange 5 integrated with the shaft 4 and a stator 7 fixed on the block 2. In this case, a rotary polygon mirror 8 is formed into recessed part on the side of the upper surface, which is not abutted to the flange 5, and while utilizing the space of this recessed shape, the rotary polygon mirror 8 is pressed on the flange 5 by a leaf spring 9 as an elastic pressing means. Namely, the shaft 4, flange 5, rotor 6, rotary polygon mirror 8 and leaf spring 9 consist of the rotary body to be rotated by driving due to the motor M1. |
