<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for developing an electrostatic charge image having stable transferability over a long period of time even in a low or high humidity environment. SOLUTION: This toner contains at least a bonding resin and magnetic iron oxide contg., based on iron element, 0.2-4.0 wt.% at least one metallic element selected from the group comprising Mn, Zn, Ni, Cu, Co, Cr, Cd, Al, Sn and Mg and 0.2-0.8 wt.% silicon element. The ratio [(BSi /ASi )×100] of the content BSi of silicon element present in a part of the iron oxide with up to 20 wt.% solution rate of iron element to the content ASi of all silicon element present in the iron oxide is 45-85% and the ratio [(CSi /ASi )×100] of the content CSi of silicon element present in a part of the iron oxide with up to 10 wt.% solution rate of iron element to the content ASi is 35-70%. The bonding resin contains at least the reaction product of a vinyl copolymer with a polyester resin.</p> |
