<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated guided vehicle capable of reducing local wearing, namely, ruts on a road surface and relaxing adverse influence exerted upon wheels by the ruts. SOLUTION: This automated guided vehicle 1, provided with guide sensors 3a and 3b respectively while being longitudinally arranged at the front and rear end parts of a car body 2 is reciprocatively traveled on a road surface 5 along guide bodies 4 provided on the road surface 5. A position adjusting mechanism 20 provided for changing the positions of the respective guide sensors 3a and 3b in the breadthwise direction of the car body 2. When the automated guided vehicle 1 is reciprocatively traveled on the road surface 5 along the same track prescribed times, for example, the respective guide sensors 3a and 3b are respectively moved in the breadthwise direction to the car body 2 just for the same distance by the position adjusting mechanism 20, their positions are held, the automated guided vehicle 1 is moved just for the same distance oppositely to the moving direction of the guide sensors 3a and 3b so that the respective guide sensors 3a and 3b are positioned on the guide body 4 after moving, and the traveling rut is changed.</p> |
