The invention relates to a multi-core high-temperature superconductor in which the silver-coated superconductor filaments are each enclosed by a resistive barrier and thus in a way electrically separated from each other. The resistive barrier consists of a carbonate whose metallic component is identical to a component of the superconductor material.
