Abstract of Disclosure A metallic fabric for manufacturing a hollow body is welded at two edge areas and according to the present invention a metallic strip is welded on in the vicinity of the welded seam, whereby the width of the welded seam is narrower than the width of the metallic strip. An elastic material which flattens out vibrations of the hollow body and ensures protection of the welded seam is arranged between the metallic strip and the metallic fabric.
