Molding of reinforced thermoplastic composites

The invention provides for the formation of composites, in particular, laminates from a wet-laid fibrous nonwoven molding compound (1) prepared from a white water slurry (3), or from a dried mat formed from the wet-laid compound. The composites so formed possess increased tensile strength and impact resistance, and are well suited to structural and reinforcing applications.
