PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-Helicobacter pylori agent which has a urease- inhibiting action and an action for sterilizing Helicobacter pylori and is useful as a medicine for preventing and treating various gastric mucosa lesions caused by the Helicobacter pylori, for example, peptic ulcers such as stomach ulcer or duodenal ulcer, gastritis, further stomach cancer, lymphoma, and so on. SOLUTION: This anti-Helicobacter pylori agent, containing acetohydroxamic acid or flurofamide or their salts as active ingredients, and the medicine for preventing or treating gastritis or stomach ulcer or duodenal ulcer, containing acetohydroxamic acid or flurofamide or their salts as active ingredients.
