PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding a composite material beam, capable of suppressing molding deficiency and capable of reducing cost. SOLUTION: The method for molding the composite material beam includes a process (a) for laying a composite material laminate with sheet thickness T on a mold to mold a laminate I including a web part, flange parts and corner parts having an inside redus R of curvature formed between them, a process (b) for combining a pair of the laminates I and placing filling materials each comprising a composite material laminate having sheet thickness (t) and width C on the corner parts of them and arranging flat sheetlike laminates II each comprising a composite material thereon and a process (c) for integrally curing the laminates I, the filling materials and the laminates II under heating and pressure. In this method, the area S of each of the wedge-shaped spaces formed by the corner parts of the laminates I and the laminates II is represented by S=(4-π).(R+T)2/2, and the sheet thickness (t) and the width C are set so that the side area (t.C) of each of the filling materials satisfies t.C=S.
