PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong a service life of a centrifugal pump by reducing abrasion of a lining member applied to an impeller and a scroll chamber. SOLUTION: The impeller 28 is constituted of a core body 30 fixed to a drive shaft 14, and a vane 32 arranged in a peripheral direction of the core body 30. An outer surface of the impeller 28 and an inner surface of the scroll chamber 12 are lined with a butadiene-acrylonitrile rubber (NBR). A ratio of a height of the vane 32 (height from a base surface of the core body 30 to an upper end of the vane) and an outer diameter of the core body 30 is 1/39 to 5/33. Accordingly, the NBR lined to the impeller 28 and the scroll chamber 12 is hard to wear, to prolong the service life of this centrifugal pump 10. Further, the outer surface of the impeller 28 and the inner surface of the scroll chamber 12 are lined with urethane rubber, thereby reducing wearing of rubber lining and further prolonging the service life of the centrifugal pump 10.
