PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stopper device for a blind capable of reducing a moving quantity of a rising and falling cord necessary for stopping the blind and as a result, reducing a returning quantity. SOLUTION: The stopper device for the blind includes a slider 24 capable of sliding inside of a case 22 in the moving direction of the rising and falling cord 16, a receiving roller 26 provided to the case 22, a holding roller 28 moving inside of the case 22 together with the slider 24 and holding the rising and falling cord between the receiving roller 26 and the holding roller 28 and a controlling mechanism 30 for controlling the movement of the slider 24, both up and down of the rising and falling cord 16 are held by a magnet 42 and a magnetic substance 44 in the slider 24, the moving quantity of the rising and falling cord 16 is transferred to a moving quantity of the slider 24 at the rate of approximately 100% and, at the same time, the rise and fall cord is only moved in a state to control the movement of the slider 24 by the controlling mechanism 30.
