PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cover the side opening section of an opening formed between a baseboard and a wall surface with excellent appearance when the baseboard having an arcuate sectional foot section in a lower edge section is installed onto the wall surface. SOLUTION: In the cover 1 used for covering the side opening section S1 of the opening S formed between the baseboard 2 having the arcuate sectional foot section 21 in the lower edge section and the wall surface W11 when the baseboard 2 is mounted on the wall surface W11, the cover 1 has a cover body 11 arranged to the side opening section S1 and a vertical board-shaped fixed section 12 secured so as to be penetrated into the opening S while being continued to the cover body 11 and fixed onto the wall surface W11 or the rear surface of the baseboard 2.
