PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a driving wheel on which a tachometer whose axial dimension can be shortened as much as possible is mounted. SOLUTION: When a tachometer is installed on a bearing device for a driving wheel rotatably supporting the wheels to a car body, a magnetic encoder 24 constituting the tachometer is stuck to a slinger 21 fitting to an inside member 8 forming a rotation side member or the shoulder 11a of the outer ring of an uniform universal coupling 11 by means of vulcanization to shorten the axial length and realize a compact design.
