PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix the head side of a tile in a laid state. SOLUTION: In a process of zigzag-laying wind resistant tiles 1 in which the tail side parts of the inner side faces of batten ridges 6, 6a are provided with engaging projections 11, 11a projecting inward, and the head side parts of the back faces of tile bodies 2 are protrusively provided with engaging projections 12, 12a positioned under the engaging projections 11, 11a in the laid state, the wind resistant tile 1 is once placed to straddle the tail side of two adjacent wind resistant tiles 1, 1 in the laid state, and when the wind resistant tile 1 is slid in a flow direction, the engaging projections 12, 12a on the back face of the upper wind resistant tile 1 and the engaging projections 11, 11a of the lower wind resistant tiles 1, 1 are put in the engaged state, and the head side of the upper wind resistant tile 1 is fixed to the lower wind resistant tiles 1, 1.
