The circuit device (1) has pairs of data inputs (A1,A2; B1,B2) for reception of dual-rail data input signals and data outputs for delivery of a dual-rail data output signal obtained from at least one of the dual-rail data input signals. When the data inputs are supplied with dual-rail data input signals of similar physical values as a pre-charge signal, a dual-rail data output signal having the same physical values is obtained. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM for a method for processing dual-rail signals is also included.
