PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of supplying developer whose toner concentration is stable to a developing roller and downsizing its height, and to provide an image forming device capable of satisfactorily forming an image excellent in quality. SOLUTION: This developing device is equipped with the developing roller, a housing where a recovery carrying chamber and a supply carrying chamber sectioned up and down by a section wall are formed at the rear of the developing roller, a recovery carrying means arranged in the recovery carrying chamber, a supply carrying means arranged in the supply carrying chamber and a stirring carrying means arranged in a stirring carrying chamber forming a circulating carrying path with the recovery carrying chamber. A developer intruding aperture communicating with the supply carrying chamber is formed on the section wall at one end on a downstream side in a developer carrying direction in the recovery carrying chamber, and the axial center of the recovery carrying means and that of the supply carrying means are respectively positioned at an upper level and at a lower level than the axial center of the developing roller. |
