PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly install a new base station without intervention of an administrator and without lowering of security level. SOLUTION: An IP telephone system 100 comprises: a mobile access point 3 that is newly provided after certification as a client with client certificate information; and an authentication server 5 for authenticating the mobile access point as the client on the basis of the client certificate information when the mobile access point is connected to a network N. The access point operates as an authenticator of the network when the IP telephone terminal 1 is connected via the wireless LAN after authentication by the authentication server is completed.
