摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply reduce the capacity of a variation correction data memory in an imaging apparatus for correcting variations in outputs for each pixel. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 1 comprises: an image pickup device 4 having a plurality of pixels for performing photoelectric conversion with a plurality of kinds of conversion characteristics; the variation correction data memory 12 for storing the amount of variation D in outputs; a memory correction section 14a for correcting the memory, based on the amount of variation D in outputs; and an interpolation correction section 14b for making interpolation correction. The variation correction data memory 12 should have the number of bits for storing the amount of variation D in outputs that is not more than a correction means determination ID. When the amount of variation D in outputs is larger than the correction means determination ID, the correction means determination ID is stored as the amount of variation D in outputs. When the amount of variation d in outputs is less than the correction means determination ID, it is determined that the memory should is corrected. When the amount of variation D in outputs matches with the correction means determination ID, it is determined that interpolation correction is made.
