<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing body control device which can correctly determine whether lock stoppage of an opening/closing body is caused by locational displacement or pinching of foreign matter or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 5 for controlling sliding of a slide roof 4 sets a predetermined range out of a sun roof slidable range (Xa-Xb) as an operating range (Sa-Sb), and controls a motor 25 for driving the slide roof 4 so as to be operable in the operating range (Sa-Sb). When the slide roof 4 is stopped at a location close to a slide lock edge (Xb), the controller stores therein a stopped location as a location at which locational displacement can occur (step S26). Then determination is made as to whether a moving distance (Bmov to Emov) from the stopped location to a location at which the slide roof 4 slides again to abut on a tilt locking edge (Xa) and stops, is larger than the sun roof slidable range (Xa-Xb), and based on a result of the determination, it is determined whether or not the stoppage is caused by the locational displacement (step S48). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
