A method for storing and displaying computer use information is provided to store typing information of a user and screen information of a monitor, and display the stored information to perform a surveillance function in a computer. Title display information, file name information, and user account of a currently attached process are checked and recorded, and the information of initial and last typing time of a user using the account is recorded. The recorded information is respectively arranged, encoded, and recorded in a binary mode. The title display information, the file name information, the user account information, and the initial and last typing information are obtained by using global hooking. Image information is obtained as data having a predetermined format by referring to resolution and a color mode value according to a predetermined screen saving period. The data is compressed and stored in an image type. The stored typing information is displayed to a first area of a screen by each day and the screen information stored according to the period in the day is displayed in a second area of the screen.
